As Florida wildlife and wild places are rapidly replaced by commercial development, these paintings bring the creatures and scenes into our homes and businesses. We hope this will raise awareness of how blessed Florida is and how urgent and important it is to spread the word that now is the time to protect and preserve what remains of nature in our unique state.
The Florida Scrub Jay is endangered and lives only in Florida, and help is needed to preserve its habitat.
This painting was Jody's favorite. It was 24 inches wide, and in a custom black frame. It was damaged and discarded by a gallery owner (without compensation).
Jody is ready to reproduce it, bigger and better, 40 inches on a side.
